Quick story, then a question.
STORY: You or your Investor Relations rep has a great call with an investor and they're in!
"Send me the deck," they say.
You send it. Then nothing…
A week, a month, and that warm lead quietly dies, because there was never a system that brought them back. So you go find a new lead and start the chase over…again.
That's the grind most capital raisers never escape. And the reality is: it's almost never a pitching problem. It's a machine problem.
Now picture the other version.
You've got a list of the right investors and you know exactly where each one stands.
Follow-up happens whether or not you remember to send it.
Something worth reading hits their inbox every week, so when they finally have capital to move, you're the name they already trust. Meetings get booked while you sleep. You're not chasing the raise anymore. It's coming to you.
That gap, between the grind and the machine, is the whole thing I want to build with people.
I'm calling it the Investor Relations Intensive: three days in Scottsdale, August 19 to 21, where you don't sit and learn about the system, you build yours in the room with me, live, and walk out with it actually running.
What it would be:
3 full working days in Scottsdale, AZ
Only 25 seats (I want my team to be hands on and help)
We cover how to raise $10M - $100M and build a plan
We source your data (names of family offices, high net worth individuals, etc.)
We upload your data into a CRM built only for outbound (keep your company’s CRM, the one we use is for prospecting)
We give you the email and social media copy and upload it for you
We structure a capital raise plan and test your pitch
We follow up with you every month for the following 6 months (we don’t charge anything)
We add you to a Slack channel and help you reach your capital raise goal
We expose you to hundreds of family offices and investors we have worked with in the past
We give you physical and electronic tools to reach your raise goal
You leave Scottsdale with the right list of actual family office and HNW contacts, a CRM, a refined offer, a polished pitch, a plan to execute daily and weekly outreach, a plan and execution strategy to present opportunities to investors via Zoom and in person, a no-nonsense assessment of your ability to raise capital, a checklist of what else you need to reach you capital raise goal, and the opportunity to meet and talk to a founder who built and scaled one of the largest real estate brokerages in the world
What it wouldn’t be:
A “Rah Rah” fest
A “networking” event
Another useless meetup
A place to learn about strategy and not implement anything
A place where you feel empty handed, unclear of your next steps, and unmotivated to prospect new investor opportunities
A “let’s go golfing and look cool and pretend capital raising is easy and fun” event
A swag-slinging merch party
A Grant Cardone or Andy Elliot style event (nothing against those guys…we are simply doing the boring set up, optimization, and training for Investor Relations heads and teams…no thrills, just work and value)
I was going to run it quietly with a few local groups. But I keep having calls with people in other states who hit the same wall, no real machine for raising capital, so before I book a venue and make it real, I want to know if it's something you'd want.
If this is hitting home and you see real value in this, hit reply and tell me. That's all I'm after right now.
Hope to hear from you,

Andrew LeBaron
