Happy Friday {{first_name}}, I have some goods I want to share with you.
But first I gotta ask:
Do you remember when Justin Bieber first blew up?

I do.
I remember when he was all anyone could talk about, and I thought he was Chilean!
Let me explain…
I first heard about Justin Bieber when I was on my LDS mission (Which is a two-year mission abroad, inviting others to follow Jesus Christ.). I served in Southern Chile, the frigid Patagonia.
It was 2010 and I saw this kid pull out his phone to play a song that…unfortunately, never left my mind.
“Baby”.
If you haven’t heard it (which I doubt), then don’t start now! Your weekend will be a teeny-bopper loop of “Little-Justin” living rent free in your head.
Once I heard Justin Bieber for the first time, and saw all the young people in Chile play his music and talk about him, I assumed he was a Chilean pop star.
He even performed live in Santiago, Chile at some point.
I mean, there were other Chilean pop stars that would actually sing in English, so I thought he was just another one.
I had no idea that he got his start in the U.S.
I was so quick to make assumptions of Justin based on where I was in life. And I obliviously accepted that Justin Bieber was a Chilean pop star for two whole years!
Or so I thought.
Until I came home to the US and found out everyone was jamming to Justin Bieber.
I asked my friend, “Dang, everyone’s into Chilean pop stars now?”
My friend: Ugh…what?
Me: Justin Bieber? Chilean pop star?
My friend: No…I think he’s Canadian, but obviously started here.
Me: … 😄
Sometimes we live with a belief that was fabricated based on observations of our current circumstance.
Silly story, yes, but the same goes for the topic of Family Offices.
Many operators and sponsors I speak with have this strange belief that family offices are untouchable.
That they are impossible to raise capital from.
Incredibly difficult to approach.
…Elusive.
Almost like the White Ranger from the Power Rangers.
You never saw the White Ranger…not even the other Power Rangers got the privilege to hang with the White Ranger. .
You only saw the White Ranger when you needed help and he could look cool…when he could be the hero.
The Red Ranger and the Black Ranger would be fighting along with the other Rangers, and in almost every episode, like clockwork, they needed just a little bit more “umph!” to defeat the bad guys.
And guess who rolled up to save the day?

There came the White Ranger.
He just bounced in whenever he wanted, took care of business, and disappeared.
Legend.
Fortunately for all of us, family offices are not that evasive.
Many of them stay private (for many reasons). They are inundated with offers weekly. They are the best kept secret of American capitalism.
But they are like any other organization. They are ran by people who have email addresses and phone numbers. Many of them have physical offices. And they most certainly have needs.
When you find out exactly what it is they need or want, you will be valuable to the family office economy.
Not all are created equal and many don't even invest in real estate or cryptocurrencies.
Some only invest in oil and gas.
Some invest strictly in precious metals.
Some only invest in debt.
Some do a little bit of everything.
I've created a pretty no-nonsense and no-thrills guide with 16 ways to approach family offices, hoping it helps you you:
I also uploaded another YouTube video covering these 16 approaches:
As always, if you'd like to meet with me and build a strategy and a system around raising capital, book a call with me here.
